About Us

The Student Council for the Health Engineering Program (BDE ISM) is a dynamic student organization affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmacy in Montpellier. It is composed entirely of student volunteers.

Our Goals

• Foster cohesion: develop solidarity, mutual support, and the “ISM spirit” within the class
• Promote the program: raise the profile of Health Engineering within the School of Pharmacy and beyond
• Organize student activities: host events that bring students together throughout the year

Our Office

A hangout spot under Lecture Hall J, open from 12:00 p.m. to 1:25 p.m.: microwaves, coffee, chatting… the perfect spot for members.

Class of 2026–2027

When you enroll in health engineering, you’re not just joining a program—you’re also becoming part of a close-knit student community, where traditions and good cheer are always in the air. To ensure that every newcomer feels at home right from the start, a brand-new Student Council has been elected for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Their mission? To welcome you, guide you… and, above all, make sure you have a great year!

This year, Lalie was elected president of the ISM Student Council. She will be joined by Philaé, who will serve as secretary, and Lucas, who will handle financial management as treasurer.

Throughout the year, the Student Union is committed to making sure you have an unforgettable college experience! On the agenda: a wide variety of events to help you settle in, meet new people, and create wonderful memories. Our VP of Communications, Elsa, will keep you updated on all of this via our social media channels, so stay connected!

Highlights include must-attend events such as the orientation weekend, the gala, and the ski trip. It’s a great way to take a break from everyday life in Montpellier and share some good times together.

For those who love to party, our Evening Event VPs, Léane and Nina, have everything planned out! Themed parties and fun nights out are on the agenda. They’re supported by Alicia, our Partnerships VP, who’ll find you the best deals at bars, restaurants, and shops in Montpellier.

Our team wouldn't be complete without our active members: Sarah and Floée. Always ready to lend a hand, they'll be there to support us and bring all our projects to life.

Our goal is simple: to offer you a year full of laughter, shared experiences, and good times, in a spirit of kindness and solidarity that reflects the core values of Ingénierie de la Santé. Please feel free to reach out to us—whether to ask a question, share an idea, or just chat—we’re here for you!

Of course, a big thank you to the entire teaching staff and our teachers, without whom none of this would be possible. Their support allows us to move forward together under the best possible conditions.

WEI XXI – Orientation Weekend

More than 85 students from the program gathered in the Cévennes for a team-building weekend.
This year’s theme was NETFLIX ORIGINALS.
Dressed as characters from *Money Heist*, *Winx Club*, *Peaky Blinders*, or *Lucifer*, the Health Engineering students competed all weekend to claim the title of best team.
On the agenda for the weekend: games, laughter, bonding, festive meals, music, and more…
Thank you to all the students for giving it their all until the very end.

WEI XVIII – Orientation Weekend

This is THE must-attend event for all IUP students! The goal of this event is to bring participants together, help them get to know one another, and foster a sense of community among the different graduating classes.

For three action-packed days, participants head outside the university campus to a campground for a wild weekend filled with activities (rope bull riding…), themed parties (18th-century jungle), and plenty of surprises (a foam cocktail party by the pool…).

All organized by an amazing student council!

Lipton Ice Tea Fresh Contest

You can also shine while having fun: Three students from the Student Union (BDE) led Montpellier’s Health Engineering program in the Lipton Ice Tea challenge, THE FRESH CONTEST, which brought together 70 campus teams from all over France.
