Montpellier Health Engineering Student Association (BDE ISM)

Who are we?

The Student Office for Health Engineering (BDE ISM) is a dynamic association affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmacy in Montpellier. It is composed solely of student volunteers.

Our objectives

• Foster cohesion: develop solidarity, mutual aid, and the "ISM spirit" within the class
• Promote education: raise the profile of Health Engineering at the Faculty of Pharmacy and beyond
• Enliven student life: organize events that bring people together throughout the year

Our flagship activities

Orientation weekend: a friendly occasion to welcome first-year students
Ski trip: three days of relaxation surrounded by mountains and good cheer
Student parties: after classes, the student union organizes parties in the best venues in Montpellier.
Surprise events: decorations, conferences, meetings... The innovative "activity" center provides entertainment throughout the year.
ISM merchandise: sweatshirts and goodies to proudly display your class colors

Our premises

A place to hang out under lecture hall J, open between 12:00 p.m. and 1:25 p.m.: microwave, coffee, chatting... the ideal hangout for members.

Class of 2025-26

When you enroll in health engineering, you're not just joining a program: you're also becoming part of a close-knit student community, where traditions and good cheer are always on the agenda. To ensure that every newcomer feels at home from the start, a brand-new Student Council has been elected for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Their mission? To welcome you, guide you... and above all, ensure you have a fantastic year!

This year, Cécilia was elected president of the ISM Student Union, supported by her vice president Line. They will be accompanied by Sarah, who will serve as secretary, and Justine, who will oversee financial management as treasurer.

Throughout the year, the Student Union is committed to providing you with an unforgettable student experience! On the agenda: a multitude of events to help you integrate, meet people, and create wonderful memories. Our VP Communications, Sara and Habib, will keep you up to date with everything on our social media channels, so stay connected!

Highlights include must-see events such as the orientation weekend, the gala, and the ski weekend, organized by our VP Events, Racha. These events offer a chance to escape the daily routine in Montpellier and share good times together.

For those who love to party, our VP Soirée Mattéo and Paul have got it all covered! Theme parties and festive outings are on the agenda. They are supported by Erwan, our VP Partnerships, who will find you the best deals in Montpellier's bars, restaurants, and shops.

When it comes to activities, Soukaïna, Hiba, and Jocelyne are in charge! Their mission: to organize events and workshops to bring students together and help you discover new things in a fun atmosphere.

Our team would not be complete without our active members: Hanane, Candice, Jimena, and Lylia. Always ready to lend a hand, they will be there to support us and bring all our projects to life.

Our goal is simple: to offer you a year full of laughter, sharing, and good times, in a spirit of kindness and solidarity that is true to the DNA of Health Engineering. Feel free to come to us, whether it's to ask a question, share an idea, or just chat—we're here for you!

Of course, a big thank you to the entire teaching team and our teachers, without whom none of this would be possible. Their support allows us to move forward together in the best possible conditions.

WEI XXI – Integration Weekend

More than 85 students from the program gathered in the Cévennes mountains for a weekend of team building.
This year's theme was NETFLIX ORIGINALS.
Dressed up as characters from La Casa de Papel, Winx, Peaky Blinders, and Lucifer, the Health Engineering students competed all weekend long to defend the title of best team.
The weekend's program included games, laughter, sharing, festive meals, music, and more.
Thank you to all the students for playing along until the very end.

WEI XVIII – Integration Weekend

This is THE unmissable event for all IUP students! The aim of this event is to bring participants together, help them get to know each other, and create a sense of community within the different classes.

For three intense days, participants leave the confines of the university and head to a campsite for a wild weekend filled with activities (rope pulling contests, etc.), themed parties (jungle XVIII), and lots of surprises (foam parties by the pool, etc.).

All organized by an amazing student union!

Lipton Ice Tea Fresh Contest

You can also shine while having fun: three students from the student union led Montpellier's Health Engineering department in the Lipton Ice Tea challenge, THE FRESH CONTEST, which brought together 70 teams from campuses across France.
