Internships and Jobs
INTERNSHIPS
Internships are of paramount importance in the "health engineering" curriculum because they are closely linked to future jobs.
Bachelor's degree internships allow students to choose their future career paths by testing out areas that may interest them.
Master's internships, which are longer, often lead to employment. The M2 internship sometimes serves as a "trial period" within the company.
Internships abroad are highly recommended. This experience allows students to discover an international economic environment and specific working methods, and to adapt to intercultural situations, all of which are essential factors in the development of a health engineering education.
The training program places significant emphasis on internships.
We provide healthcare professionals with forms (2024 forms will soon be available online) to contact us for the purpose of recruiting one of our students (internship) or graduates (employment). This page is in both English and French.![]()
Professionals send us a number of job offers directly, which we then make available to our graduates.

Professional internships in Health Engineering training
Internships are governed by an agreement and are the subject of a written report prepared by the intern. Each year of study ends with an internship:
- L2:Minimum 6-week work placement (June–July–August), compulsory but not eligible for ECTS credits.
- L3: Mandatory internshipof at least 2 months(June–July–August) worth 2.5 ECTS credits.
- M1:Five-monthend-of-year internshipfromearly April to late August – worth 10 ECTS credits.
- M2:Six-monthend-of-studies internshipfromearly March to late August – worth 20 ECTS credits.
Students must demonstrate their ability to apply what they have learned during their training in the field.
A list of internships, updated annually, is made available to students.
