STUDYING IN MONTPELLIER
In France, university programs are structured into 3-, 5-, and 8-year tracks, leading to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees. For each degree, coursework is divided into semesters (two semesters per academic year), each worth 30 credits, which are transferable within France and across Europe. Erasmus students may completeone or two semestersof study at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
International students can complete part of their studies at the School of Pharmacy by enrolling in theBachelor’s program in Health Engineeringor one of theMaster’stracks:
- MPES:Project Management in Health and Environment
- CPPS: Design and Production of Health Products: Two Specializations:PharmaceuticalsorCosmetology
- MPPS:Project Management, Healthcare Product Marketing
- MODM: Clinical Operations and Data Management: two specializations:Clinical Trial CoordinationandClinical Database Management
- DMCC:Medical Devices: From Design to Market Launch
ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE
International students will be assessed under the same conditions as students from Montpellier.
FRENCH LESSONS
The School of Pharmacy offers free French classes to international students in all years (reading and discussing news articles, grammar exercises, conversation practice, writing assignments, etc.).
Location and Schedule: Every Thursday from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM
The first session is usually scheduled for mid-September, but latecomers are always welcome to join the group.

HOW DO I APPLY TO THE SCHOOL OF PHARMACY?
- To ensure that your arrival is as smooth as possible, please submit a fully completed ERASMUS application to the Faculty’s Office of International Relations (Ms. Fleur Lorrain): ERASMUS Application Form
- At the same time, once your transfer has been approved by the BRI, you must also complete the moveonline form, which is available from April through the end of June.
Upon your arrival, you must schedule an appointment withMs. Fleur Lorrainat the BRI. Please bring the following documents to this appointment:
- your passport
- a European Health Insurance Card valid for the entire duration of your stay
- three passport photos
- a credit card to pay the administrative registration fee (the amount will be provided to you on the day of registration)
- liability insurance that is valid abroad and covers the entire duration of your stay (you can purchase this upon your arrival in Montpellier for approximately €16 for the academic year).
- proof of proficiency in French (level B1 or B2)
- the proof of enrollment from your university
Students coming to the laboratory to complete a research internship must, prior to beginning their work, have an internship agreement drawn up and approved by the professor in charge of the host laboratory, the internship supervisor(s), and the Faculty’s Registrar’s Office.
